đ Whether itâs reaching out to a new guest, reminding a volunteer, or preparing for an event, tasks make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Hereâs how to create a new task:
1. Go to the Task Section
From your dashboard, open the Tasks section.
Make sure youâve already set up your categories (see our guide on creating task categories).
2. Add a New Task
Click Add New.
Fill out the details for your task:

Category: Select the appropriate task category (e.g., âNew Member Follow-Upâ)
Priority Level: Mark as High, Medium, or Low đș
Due Date: Choose when the task should be completed đ
Reminder: (Optional) Add a reminder note or message for extra clarity
3. Save Your Task
Once created, the task will appear in your task list.
Youâll be notified of the task according to the settings you chose.
4. Pro Tip: Use Automated Workflows for Tasks
You can also automate tasks as part of an Automated Workflow (for example, creating a task to call a guest after their first visit).
This ensures no follow-up is missed. (See our separate guide on adding tasks to Automated Workflow.)
đ Why Use Tasks?
Tasks help you:
Stay consistent with follow-up
Assign responsibility clearly across your team
Keep ministry organized and personal
By using tasks, youâll empower your team to serve intentionallyâmaking sure every guest and member feels known, noticed, and loved. đ
