Let’s walk through the buttons you’ll see inside an Automated Workflow and what each one does.
🔘 Activate & Deactivate
Activate: Before your Automated Workflow can run, you’ll need to Activate it.
Click Activate, confirm “Yes, activate,” and your Automated Workflow will be ready to go.
From now on, when someone joins the group (or meets the trigger you’ve set), the messages will begin sending.
Deactivate: Once a Automated Workflow is active, you’ll see the option to Deactivate.
Use this option if you want to completely disable the Automated Workflow
⏸ Pause Workflow
Heading on vacation? Need to take a break? You can pause an Automated Workflow.
Choose the dates you’ll be away, and the Automated Workflow will temporarily stop sending messages until you return.
📊 Workflow Report
The Workflow Report shows you:
Who has already processed through the Automated Workflow ✔️
Who is still waiting to process ⏳
This is a great way to track progress and make sure no one slips through the cracks.
🧪 Simulate your Automated Workflow
With the Simulate button, you can preview how the Automated Workflow will play out.
Select a recipient (try choosing yourself!) and a start time (like 1 p.m.).
The simulation will show you:
The exact date and time each message will send 📅
A preview of each message (text or email) 📬
🎚️ Step Toggles (Active vs. Inactive)
Each step in an Automated Workflow can be turned on (green) or off (red).
To adjust a step, you can:
Toggle the switch at the top of the step
Or click the status dot to switch between active and inactive
This gives you the flexibility to pause individual steps without turning off the entire Automated Workflow.
🙌 Why These Buttons Matter
These tools give you full control over your communication. Whether you’re testing, adjusting, or pausing for a season, you can ensure your messages always go out at the right time and in the right way—helping every guest feel known, noticed, and loved. 💙
