This step is all about connecting your form to the right next actions—like auto-adding someone to a Group, replying with a confirmation text, or notifying a staff member when someone responds. It’s all about building real relationships without extra work.

🔗 Option 1: Link Your Connect Card to a Group

You can automatically add someone to a Group in Text In Church based on the card they fill out.

Select a Group from the dropdown

For example, If you’re using a Women’s Ministry Connect Card, link it to your Women’s Ministry group

💡This ensures that everyone who fills out the card is instantly added to the correct texting or email group—no manual entry needed!

🔤 Option 2: Add a Keyword

You can let people text a keyword to access your Connect Card. Here's how:

Type in your desired keyword (e.g., “Women” for Women’s Ministry)

Select which phone number people should text the keyword to

Toggle on the Auto Reply to send them a response

Next, write a reply that includes your card link. Here’s an example:

“Hi! Thanks for texting ‘Women.’ Please fill out this Connect Card to join our Women’s Ministry group—we’d love to get to know you!”

To add the actual card link:

Click the “Links” button at the bottom

Select your Connect Card (e.g., “Women’s Ministry”)

✅ It will instantly insert the card link right into your reply text

📌 Pro Tip: Don’t forget to hit “Save”—this part doesn’t autosave!

📲 Option 3: Send a Confirmation Text After Submission

Want to let people know their card was submitted successfully? Toggle on the Confirmation Text Message feature.

Choose the number it should come from

Add a friendly message like:

“Thanks for connecting with the Women’s Ministry! We’re excited you’re here!”

Then click Save to confirm.

👥 Option 4: Notify a Staff Member

You can notify a team member when someone fills out a card by email or text.

Click “Add Recipient”

Choose if you want to send:

An email (includes full card responses)

A text (basic notification that a card was submitted)

This keeps your team in the loop so no one falls through the cracks.

🎯 With these simple tools, your Connect Cards become way more than just forms—they’re automated connection builders that help people feel known, noticed, and loved right from the start.
