Step 1: Go to Settings → Phone Numbers ⚙️
Head over to your Settings and click on Phone Numbers. From here, you have two options:
Use your existing phone number by hosting or porting it.
Or, add a brand-new phone number directly within Text In Church.
Step 2: Add a New Phone Number ➕
Click Buy Now. The system will ask you:
Which country will your number be based in 🌍?
The area code you’d like 📍.
After choosing your area code, you’ll be able to select from a list of available phone numbers. Once you’ve picked the one you like, click Save My Phone Number ✅—and you’re all set!
Step 3: Label Your Phone Number 🏷️
Now that you have more than one line, it’s helpful to label them for clarity.
Click the pencil icon ✏️ next to the number.
Give it a name to help you remember its purpose. For example: “Youth Line” 🎉.
The Public Display Name will stay the same. This is your church-friendly name that appears consistently, so no need to change it unless necessary.
Step 4: Add Extra Features (If Available) 🎛️
Depending on your setup, you may also have access to calling features:
Add a digital receptionist ☎️.
Set up other options based on your subscription.
These features make your communication even more streamlined and personal.

With just a few quick steps, you can add and manage multiple phone lines inside Text In Church. This helps keep your communication organized, whether it’s for your main church line, youth ministry, or any other department.
