Heads up: Internal Notes currently works only on the website version of Text In Church. You'll need to be on a computer, not the mobile app.
Add a note to a conversation
Open the conversation where you want to leave a note.
Click Write a Note.
Type your note. For example: "Kyra mentioned she's interested in joining the worship team."
Click Add Note.
Your note appears right in the conversation history, alongside the messages. Your contact never sees it. It's just for your team.
Tag a team member
Want a specific person to see your note? Type the @ symbol and pick a team member from the list.
That person gets a notification that there's a note in this conversation. In the example above, your worship leader would know right away that Kyra wants to join the team on Sunday.
Manage who can create and view notes
You control who can use Internal Notes.
Go to Account Settings, then Users.
Find the person you want to adjust and click the three dots next to their name.
Manage their permissions from there.
You can turn off their ability to create notes, view notes, or both. This comes in handy when some conversations include sensitive information.
Who can see your notes?
Anyone with permission to view Internal Notes can see all of them, not just the ones they were tagged in. Keep that in mind as you write.
