Did you know that you can send unlimited emails through Text In Church? 🎉
Let's get started!
1. Start a New Email
Click the New Message button in the top right corner of your account.
Or, head to the Messages → Conversations section and click Create New Message.
Choose Email as your message type.
2. Add a Title (Optional)
You can give your email an internal title to keep things organized (example: “Sunday Service Reminder” or “Volunteer Training”).
Or, you can leave this blank—it’s just for your records.
3. Choose Email Style
Select between:
Plain Text: A simple, clean look—perfect for business-like updates.
Personal: A warmer and relational style (recommended for most church communication).
Then click Begin.
4. Select Recipients
Choose whether to send to Groups or Individual People.
You can select multiple Groups at once. ✅
5. Build Your Email ✏️
Every email requires at least a Subject and a Body.
Personalize your email with variables (like First Name). Example:
Hi {{First Name}}, we’d love to see you this Sunday!
Add links to your website, Connect Cards, or landing pages.
Insert images to make your email visually engaging.
Organize your content with formatting options to ensure your message appears clean and easy to read.
Use templates for messages you send regularly (covered in another guide).
6. Set Reply-To Address 📬
Here’s the fun part:
Anyone with admin access can create an email.
Replies don’t have to go back to the sender—they can go to anyone you choose.
Example: If your assistant creates the email, but you want replies to go directly to the pastor, simply set the pastor’s email address (Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) as the reply-to.
7. Send or Schedule
Once your email appears as expected, click Next.
Choose whether to send it immediately 🚀 or schedule it for later ⏰.
🙌 Why This Matters
With unlimited email sending, you can:
Keep your congregation updated each week
Celebrate and encourage individuals

By combining Email + Messaging in Text In Church, you’ll create consistent, meaningful communication that helps every person feel known, noticed, and loved. 💙
