Getting Started
Now that you've created your Connect Widget, it's time to put it live on your website! Start by logging into your Text In Church dashboard and going to Connect > Widgets. You'll see the widget you created, along with a red "Action Required" banner at the top. Click it to begin linking your website.
Adding the Code to Your Website
You'll see a code snippet that needs to be added to your website's header. There are two ways to handle this:
If you manage your own website — Copy the code to your clipboard and paste it into the header section of your website.
If someone else handles your website — No problem! Enter their email address and click the send button. Text In Church will email them the code snippet along with instructions so they can take care of it.
Verifying Your Website
Once the code has been added to your website, come back to your Text In Church dashboard and click Next. Paste your website URL into the field provided and click Verify. Text In Church will scan your website, confirm the code is in place, and make sure everything is good to go.
Once verified, you're ready for the next step — choosing which pages your Connect Widget appears on.
