Here’s a step-by-step guide to managing voicemails in your Calling section.

Step 1: Log in to Your Dashboard

Once you’re in your Text In Church account, look to the left-hand menu. Click the phone icon to access the Calling section.

Step 2: Locate Your Voicemails

In the Calling dashboard, you’ll find your voicemails front and center—right at the top. New messages are flagged with a “New” bubble so nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Want to see everything? Click “View All” to access your full voicemail history.

Step 3: Review Key Voicemail Details

Each voicemail includes important info at a glance:

  • Duration of the voicemail

  • Transcription (when available)

  • Caller ID and which user or number they contacted

  • Date and time the message was left

  • Which number was called, in case your church uses multiple phone numbers

All voicemails are saved automatically for 90 days, giving you plenty of time to follow up or archive.

Step 4: Take Action with One Click

Click the three dots on the right of any voicemail to take immediate action. You can:

  • Call back directly from the platform

  • Send a quick text or email

  • Create a task for a team member to follow up

  • Save or delete the voicemail

Want to listen to the message? Just hit the Play button, and a pop-up window will appear with audio controls and the transcription (if available).

Step 5: Follow Up with Intention

Whether it’s a guest needing prayer or a volunteer confirming their schedule, your response matters. A quick callback or personalized text could be the moment that makes someone feel truly known and loved.

Remember: Simple systems like this help create sustainable ministry. With Calling, your follow-up can be faster, more organized, and deeply relational.
